Polyride Fe®
Each vegetarian capsule contains:
  • 350 mg of polysaccharide iron complex (equivalent to 150 mg elemental iron – the actual iron available for absorption).
Polyride Fe Ultra®
Each vegetarian capsule contains:
  • 350 mg of polysaccharide iron complex (equivalent to 150 mg elemental iron – the actual iron available for absorption)
  • 1,000 mcg of vitamin B12 for diets deficient in vitamin B12 particularly in vegans or vegetarians, the elderly and for patients with gastric atrophy who malabsorb vitamin B12
  • 125 mg of vitamin C to enhance iron absorption and prevent vitamin C deficiency
Both Polyride Fe and Polyride Fe Ultra are polysaccharide iron complex with high tolerability and low stomach discomfort.
Polyride Fe® & Polyride Fe Ultra®

Take one capsule once daily or as recommended by your health care provider.

If you miss a dose of Polyride Fe®, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double dose to make up for the missed dose.
It is recommended that you consult a healthcare practitioner before taking Polyride Fe® if you are pregnant or nursing.
Polyride Fe® is not recommended for children. Consult your health care practitioner for use in children.

No, it is not recommended you open the capsule and take the contents. 

Consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, are taking medication, if you have a peptic ulcer, regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis. Do no use except under the care of a healthcare practitioner.

Also store Polyride Fe out of the reach of children as there is enough drug in the package to seriously harm a child if ingested.

The few milligrams of polysaccharide in a single or even two capsules will not influence blood sugar in diabetics.
Oral iron supplements should not be used in conditions associated with iron overload such as hemochromatosis, hemolytic anemia and during active sepsis.

It is best to separate iron intake by 2-3 hours from any other medication as there may be interactions.

Polyride Fe® should be stored in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children, as as there is enough in the bottle to harm a child if ingested.

Yes, both Polyride Fe® and Polyride Fe® Ultra are gluten free.

It is best to avoid taking any expired medication as stability is only guaranteed to the date.
As a polysaccharide iron, both Polyride Fe® and Polyride Fe Ultra® are the iron supplements of choice due to its high tolerability and low stomach discomfort.

Both products are vegan friendly. They are not made with any animal byproducts. The capsule is vegetable based. They are also VegeCert certified.

Both iron supplements have better gastrointestinal tolerability as they are a polysaccharide iron complex (PIC). Leading to better compliance.

Polyride Fe® Ultra and Polyride Fe® are currently being made in clear veggie capsules. This will look dark brown (different than the orange/black capsules) because the contents of the capsules are visible due to clear/colorless capsules. However, there is no change in the contents, material or strength of the product.
